Job Title: Head of Quality and Governance

LRQA is a leading global assurance provider, dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and governance services to our clients. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Technical Quality and Governance function, ensuring that our commercial operations meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the global Technical Quality and Governance function to ensure strategic and commercial alignment with the business, while preserving accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor performance against standards and procedures to identify potential issues and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure LRQA's licence to operate is maintained through effective accreditation management with external bodies.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure consistency and excellence in our services.
  • Establish and promote a culture of quality and governance across LRQA, sharing knowledge and best practices to build and maintain our brand and technical integrity.
  • Represent LRQA's business interests with external accreditation bodies and sector schemes to build and maintain a strong network and credibility across the industry.
  • Collaborate with functions across LRQA to ensure consistency in the development and delivery of our global services and client experience.
  • Lead, manage, and develop team members to build capacity and capability through recruitment, performance management, talent/succession planning, training, and development.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a quality and governance leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory rules and make recommendations for input into local and global operational strategies.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and accreditation processes.
