About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Pre Assessment Unit at King George Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for the individualized care of clients on their elective surgical procedures.
  • To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing practice while coordinating and liaising with other staff, in line with Trust and CQC standards.
  • To assist with support and supervision of students and junior members of the team.
  • To supervise and coordinate other staff as appropriate and take charge of own pre-assessment.
  • To demonstrate leadership and deputize in the absence of the Senior sister/Charge Nurse.
