Water Recycling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Recycling Operator to join our team at Wessex Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our water recycling facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards.
- Be involved in running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants.
- Ensure compliance with company policy, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues, the public, and yourself at all times.
- Provide emergency cover on the standby rota and take part in a shift pattern when applicable.
- Experience of working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant is essential.
- Electrical or mechanical experience would be desirable.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and a technical subject.
- Happiness working outside in all conditions.
- A valid driving licence.
