Are you passionate about outdoor work and teamwork? Join our dedicated reinstatement team at Wessex Water. As a key member reporting to the area reinstatement controller, you will play a vital role in the permanent restoration of excavated areas in highways, footways, and other hard surfaces.

Your Responsibilities

As an Excavation Restoration Specialist, you will collaborate in pairs to execute both small and large-scale reinstatements across various business sectors. Your tasks will encompass asphalt and white topping work on footpaths and roadways, as well as the repair and replacement of manhole frames and covers. Flexibility to work weekends and night shifts may be necessary.

Essential Qualifications

We require candidates who can operate small machinery, such as pedestrian rollers, disc cutters, trench rammers, and plate compactors. A solid understanding of material specifications and installation techniques is essential, along with prior experience in blacktop restoration. A full, clean driving license is mandatory, and possessing a 7.5t or 18t license along with NRSWA streetworks accreditation is advantageous.
