About the Role

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Restorative Dentistry to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical excellence in Restorative Dentistry, ensuring the highest possible standard of diagnosis, treatment, and care for patients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from within and outside the Trust to provide a specialty service to the Trust, with responsibility for the diagnosis and management of patients referred to the Restorative Dentistry service.
  • Lead on development plans and delivery of key performance indicators for Restorative Dentistry, ensuring effective communication and working relationships with medical, scientific, management, technical, and nursing staff.
  • Supervise, train, and advise junior medical and dental staff working at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust to ensure high standards of clinical practice and efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with medical, scientific, management, technical, and nursing staff, as required for performing the responsibilities of this post.
