We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team in Poole. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role will require you to travel between sites and work closely with our infrastructure team to ensure the stability and integrity of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-level technical support to end-users
  • Assist with planning and implementing infrastructure upgrades and enhancements
  • Install and configure new or replacement IT hardware and mobile devices
  • Review and improve existing infrastructure effectiveness
  • Respond to service desk requests in a timely manner
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in 2nd or 3rd-level infrastructure or support roles
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, O365, and common IT applications
  • Good understanding of networking capabilities, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and switching
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Management and backup and restore methodologies
  • Experience with Wi-Fi products, such as HP Aruba
