Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Plus One Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating 2D drawings and assembly instructions from 3D models provided by our engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize SolidWorks software to create 2D drawings and assembly instructions from 3D models provided by our engineers.
  2. Collaborate effectively with site engineers to clarify design intent and ensure the drawings reflect the final product.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in SolidWorks software and drafting practices.
  4. Potential to be responsible for writing clear and concise work instructions for the assembly teams.

Requirements:

  1. ONC, NVQ Level 3 or HNC in Mechanical Design Engineering.
  2. Adherence to company health and safety policies.
  3. Maintenance of a clean and organized work environment.
  4. Contribution to the company's continuous development of updating processes.
  5. Proficiency in using CAD Systems to produce 2D and 3D outputs.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Strong problem-solving, organization, and planning skills with attention to detail.
