Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the HV, Energy, and Renewable Sector. This role will involve working on a project within the UK, collaborating with our client to deliver leading-edge solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and review schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
  2. Ensure compliance with specific project safety requirements.
  3. Design and detail high and low voltage equipment and control and protection systems.
  4. Specify, select, and procure equipment.
  5. Prepare and interpret technical specifications and enquiry documentation.
  6. Assist with the preparation of technical and contract documentation.
  7. Monitor progress and issue progress reports.
  8. Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
Requirements:
  1. A third-level degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Experience working in the power and renewables sector.
  4. Ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
  6. Team player with a high level of motivation.
