Overview

The Global Climate and ESG (CESG) team at Gallagher Re is seeking a committed Sustainability Business Analyst to enhance our team. This role provides an opportunity for a knowledgeable Climate/ESG insurance expert to incorporate climate and meteorological insights into business analytics.

The Sustainability Business Analyst will be instrumental in delivering climate solutions and natural disaster response services to international clients, fostering a more resilient future.

Your Role:
  • Exhibit a profound understanding of the effects of climate change on enterprises
  • Evaluate global climate models across various scenarios
  • Assist in standardized climate risk evaluations
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners
  • Establish market presence and cultivate client relationships
  • Contribute to event response products and documentation
  • Identify enhancement opportunities with third-party entities
  • Create intellectual assets for revenue generation
  • Ensure adherence to company policies
About You:
  • Advanced degree in a scientific or environmental discipline
  • Comprehensive knowledge of climate science and data
  • Experience in climate-focused roles within the insurance sector
  • Proficient in various IT applications and possess strong communication skills
  • Positive demeanor and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
