About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team in Milton Keynes. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care programmes for individuals with acquired brain injuries and various neurological conditions, including Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, implement, and evaluate person-centred care programmes as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and apply clinical reasoning to develop and deliver interventions.
  • Work autonomously, setting priorities for yourself and supporting colleagues.
  • Manage risk in relation to occupational performance and respond efficiently to complex information.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with service users and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Evidence of continued professional development (CPD).

Desirable Qualities:

  • Proficiency in OT assessments and interventions using clinical reasoning.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own priorities, as well as support others.
  • Competence in assessing and managing risk related to occupational performance.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle complex information.
  • Competent IT skills, including proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and its impact on practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships.
