The European Regulatory Affairs team at Ecolab is responsible for ensuring product regulatory compliance across the company's affiliates and customers in Europe. As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be part of an international team with diverse nationalities and cultures.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our European Regulatory Affairs team in either the UK or the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing national product compliance, representing Ecolab at trade associations, and managing local authority relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage national product compliance in the UK and Netherlands
  • Represent Ecolab at UK and NL trade associations
  • Manage local authority relations
  • Manage inspections
  • Manage local and EU RA-related projects
  • Perform national biocide and chemicals registrations with the support of Regulatory Affairs experts
  • Support customers on local and European RA topics
  • Act as a connection point to European Ecolab RA experts on EU regulations

Requirements:

  • Degree in natural sciences or technical disciplines (e.g. chemistry, biology, biotechnology) or related disciplines
  • Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills (able to work 100% in English). Ideally, also knowledge in Dutch language
  • Ideally 2 or more years of experience in chemical regulatory affairs (especially CLP, REACH, Biocide regulations)
  • Good MS Office skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical and regulatory documents
  • Good data management skills, including attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders on a virtual basis (team members located across Europe)

  • Detail-oriented and structured/organized at work
  • Self-starter
  • Motivated and eager to learn
  • Project management skills would be ideal
