The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Divisional Quality Management Specialist to play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our operations.

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving Dechra Group and DM&S Divisional Quality Management System processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines, including GMPs and GDPs, and a proven track record in establishing and improving quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain divisional-level QMS procedures and guidelines, including Change Control, Deviation Management, CAPA, and Continuous Improvement processes.
  • Ensure the implementation of Quality Risk Management (QRM) across all relevant business areas in accordance with ICH Q9(R1), including the creation of a standardized risk priority assessment tool and a Quality Risk Register.
  • Act as the Group owner for the consolidated Quality Risk Register process, ensuring its effective integration across quality functions at all levels.
  • Lead proactive QRM review discussions with quality organizations to identify emerging risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Manage the QRR/QRM escalation process, ensuring that high-priority risks are effectively communicated to stakeholders and management.
  • Serve as the Quality Lead for divisional-level change implementations as required.
  • Collaborate with owners of core divisional applications (e.g., Oracle, Veeva) to ensure alignment between QMS processes and system functionalities.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments to promote a culture of quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing QMS processes within a regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of GMPs, GDPs, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
