- Education Support: Offer support and guidance to young people in their educational pursuits, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports for planning meetings, reviews, and other meetings as directed by the line manager.
- Empowerment: Empower young people to actively participate in decision-making about their lives and future, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Advocacy: Act as an advocate in meetings where the young person is the subject of discussion, ensuring their voice is heard and their needs are met.
- Community Engagement: Encourage community engagement and participation in social activities, helping young people to develop their social skills and expand their personal networks.
- Home Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of the home, including laundry, cooking, cleaning, and shopping, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Age Requirement: Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license preferable.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people.
- Training: Attendance at a 2-week training program required.
- Availability: Must have availability for sleep-in shifts.
- Additional Payment: £30 additional payment per sleep-in shift.
- DBS: Enhanced DBS covered.
- Induction and Training: Comprehensive induction and training provided.
- Shift Pattern: 2-3 shifts per week for an excellent work/life balance.
- Rota: Rota provided 4 weeks in advance.
