  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports for planning meetings, reviews, and other meetings as directed by the line manager.
  • Empowerment: Empower young people to actively participate in decision-making about their lives and future, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Advocacy: Act as an advocate in meetings where the young person is the subject of discussion, ensuring their voice is heard and their needs are met.
  • Community Engagement: Encourage community engagement and participation in social activities, helping young people to develop their social skills and expand their personal networks.
  • Home Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of the home, including laundry, cooking, cleaning, and shopping, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license preferable.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people.
  • Training: Attendance at a 2-week training program required.
  • Availability: Must have availability for sleep-in shifts.
