Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to management on the execution of HR policies, including performance and absence management, as well as disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Encourage and mentor managers to effectively handle performance and attendance challenges.
  • Interpret and advise on employment legislation, ensuring compliance while providing relevant guidance to both managers and employees.
  • Assist management with recruitment efforts, including crafting role descriptions and candidate specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders involved in the development of policies related to employee performance, health, and safety.
  • Work alongside the health and safety team to manage occupational health cases and provide advice on complex absence matters.
  • Advise on compensation, promotions, and benefits discussions, ensuring equitable practices.
  • Foster and promote a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion within the organization.

Your Profile:

  • A CIPD qualification is beneficial; however, equivalent experience and knowledge will also be taken into account.
  • Strong understanding of employment law with practical experience in its application.
  • Ability to tailor communication styles to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in proposing and implementing innovative work practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant IT applications.
