Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Utilize excellent product knowledge to identify and meet customers' needs, providing personalized holiday recommendations.
  • Effectively utilize social media platforms to promote offers, engage with customers, and generate sales leads.
  • Participate in promotional events and activities to increase brand exposure and drive sales.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets by providing exceptional customer service and promoting travel products.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the branch, including administrative duties and process adherence.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of travel products and tour operator systems to provide expert advice to customers.

Competencies:

  • Ability to work towards individual and team sales targets, demonstrating a strong understanding of the travel industry.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers.
  • Good accuracy and numerical skills, with the ability to process transactions efficiently.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude, with a commitment to contributing to the growth of the business.
  • Competent IT skills, with the ability to effectively utilize technology to drive sales and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Travel Consultant, with a proven sales record and a passion for travel and tourism.
  • Excellent travel product knowledge, with a good working knowledge of tour operator systems.
  • Good sales and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Customer-focused, with a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide solutions to customer queries.
  • Team player, with a strong understanding of the importance of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • A recognized travel qualification is desirable, but not essential.
