Job Description

Regional Business Development Executive, Telecommunications Sector

Our client is seeking a self-motivated and confident sales professional to join their team as a Regional Business Development Executive. This is an on-the-road-based sales position, identifying new customers and developing a network of business connections in the Shropshire and Black Country regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend networking events and Chamber meetings to establish relationships with local businesses
  • Call on local business accounts to qualify them for follow-up meetings to develop new sales opportunities for broadband and telephone systems
  • Generate new sales leads to create face-to-face appointments with decision makers to develop solutions

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a sales role
  • Experience dealing with gatekeepers preferred
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills
  • Target-driven with the motivation to succeed
  • Ability to develop relationships and open new business opportunities via local networking events and exhibitions
