Construction Site Supervisor

Our client, a leading contractor in the UK, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their planned maintenance division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing labour-based activities, preferably within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise a team of direct operatives and sub-contractors to ensure the successful delivery of planned maintenance projects.
- Develop and implement site plans to achieve production targets, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct pre- and post-inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Lead the site team to achieve the best possible results, managing delivery of works to specification.
- Manage direct reports, including RLOs and office staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and delivering planned maintenance projects, with a strong focus on health and safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.
Requirements:- CSCS card - Supervisor / Manager / Professionally qualified person
- SMSTS Award
- GCSE grade C or above in 4 subjects including Maths and English or a C&G Advanced/Craft certificate and NVQ L2/3, HNC in Construction, or equivalent
- Previous experience managing labour-based activities (preferably within the construction industry) as a foreman.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of industry H&S
