Job Description

As a Deputy Ward Manager at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wards. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake rostering and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on ESAU and other healthcare-related matters
  • Coordinate ward activities in the absence of the Ward Manager
  • Conduct sickness reviews and audits to maintain high standards of patient care
  • Attend meetings and contribute to ward discussions on patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
