We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Ward Manager and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities:- Take charge of the ward and lead the team in delivering excellent patient care
- Support junior members of the team and provide guidance and mentorship
- Develop and implement short and long-range goals to improve patient outcomes
- Network and seek out best practice pathways to enhance patient care
- 1st level Nurse (RGN) with UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
- Evidence of consistent professional and educational development
- BSc. Nursing, Health or management related studies or above or equivalent
- ENB 998 or equivalent teaching/mentorship course
- Recognized Management Qualification or relevant management experience
- High level negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to cultivate positive relationships with teams
- Complex problem solving
- Caring for patients with tracheostomy or laryngectomy
3 days a week, Long days/nights
