Job Description

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at First Recruitment Group - IT. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing expert commercial management and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Management:
    • Ensure accurate cost and value reporting and forecasting to mitigate adverse financial impacts.
    • Ensure effective capture of costs and allocation of costs.
    • Identify and report commercial risk, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Contract Administration:
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and statutory legislation.
    • Validate Work Orders against expected performance levels.
    • Manage system and manual accruals.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and develop a team of commercial staff.
    • Ensure team compliance with processes, procedures, and policies.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial management and quantity surveying.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
