Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Tenant Officer. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of housing management and tenancy enforcement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on behalf of the Council in legal proceedings around tenancy enforcement, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Supervise and support the Housing Management Team, providing guidance and assistance as needed to ensure effective delivery of housing services.
  • Conduct final reviews and analyses of individual tenancies, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for future action.
  • Provide advice, assistance, and information to tenants and the general public, ensuring a high level of customer care and satisfaction.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external organizations to ensure effective collaboration and support in delivering housing services.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of supervising staff in a housing environment.
  • Previous experience dealing with the public, both face-to-face and by telephone, with a varying customer base.
