Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment and delivery of psychological interventions in Diabetes and Rheumatology.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' psychological needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, carers, and families to promote effective communication and care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of psychology services, including audit and research activities.
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or equivalent, leading to eligibility for Chartership by the British Psychological Society and Registered Practitioner Psychologist by the Health Care Professions Council.
- High-level knowledge of psychological theories and interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
- Experience working with patients with complex medical conditions, including diabetes and rheumatology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
