Job Title: Child Disability Specialist

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Child Disability Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the HST Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control in clinical and non-clinical areas within the trust premises.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out cleaning duties as per schedule, adhering to infection control procedures and national standards.
  • Work in areas where patients have mental health, special needs, or behavioral problems, requiring a high level of sensitivity and understanding.
  • Use specialist cleaning machines and equipment, maintaining standards in allocated areas.
  • Undertake wall washing, changing curtains, cleaning windows, and maintaining floor hygiene using specialized equipment and chemicals.
  • Responsible for completing terminal or deep cleans, adhering to COSHH guidance and the Trust's PPE Policy.
  • Collaborate with the HST team leader to ensure seamless communication and effective cleaning operations.
