About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Programme Planning Manager (Sustainability) to join our team at London Gatwick. As a key member of our programme management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our strategic aims and objectives through the development, implementation, and delivery of effective planning and assurance processes across a programme of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Programme Manager in delivering the strategic aims and objectives of the business
  • Develop, implement, and deliver effective planning and assurance processes across a programme of projects
  • Lead the planning of projects across all stages of their lifecycle, from concept approval to delivery and closeout
  • Ensure performance targets are consistently met and surpassed
  • Manage schedules for the entire project journey, including internal and external interfaces
  • Apply knowledge and skills across multiple projects to help achieve strategic goals
  • Contribute to the development of standards and manage, motivate, coach, and mentor team members
  • Review the Programme, assist in trend and change processes, report, and find ways to be more efficient
  • Develop and uphold world-class health, safety, and environmental standards across the programme and its contractors

Requirements:

  • Previous experience planning infrastructure projects as a Senior Planner on multi-year programmes within the construction or infrastructure sectors
  • Extensive experience of Primavera P6 and related commercial acumen
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills, along with the ability to motivate, coach, facilitate, and create learning opportunities for others
