About the Role:

Our client, a leading provider of estate services, is seeking an experienced contract manager to support the delivery of large-scale grounds maintenance contracts across the west of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and attending review meetings, regular meetings with contractors' staff, scrutiny and preparation of KPI and other contract data, detailed record keeping, and regular on-site monitoring of contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of grounds maintenance contracts, ensuring high standards of quality and service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on contractor performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the estate services team to ensure seamless delivery of services and continuous improvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the estate services or facilities management sector.
  • Strong knowledge of amenity horticulture, including grounds maintenance and landscaping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
