Job Summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled individual to lead the Quality Assurance function in our aseptic preparation services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective preparation of medicines, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the implementation and operation of the Quality Management System across our aseptic services, including the Quality Control Laboratory.
  • Ensuring compliance with Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) regulations, as well as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations.
  • Providing expert advice and support to service managers on GMP and quality-related matters.
  • Deputising for the Quality Assurance Manager as required.
