Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Directorate Team within the Medical Directorate. As a key member of the team, you will provide leadership to an experienced pharmacy team, working closely with the Head of Pharmacy, Associate and Assistant Directors of Pharmacy to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective care across Joined Up Care Derbyshire.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy leadership, with experience in managing teams, strategic planning, and building stakeholder networks. You will support the Head of Pharmacy and their team in delivering Population Health Management, prevention, and the effective reduction in Health Inequalities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the work of the Pharmacy Directorate and Medical Directorate in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective care across care pathways within Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
  • Support the Head of Pharmacy, Associate and Assistant Directors of Pharmacy and their team to ensure that their workstream of programmes are planned and managed effectively.
  • Lead and drive Pharmacy Directorate Team priorities, matrix working across the Team.
  • Manage the Pharmacy Directorate Team's business function to improve the quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness of relevant clinical interventions.
  • Line manage and be responsible for the workload and performance of other staff as required.
