We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Respiratory Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for individuals with chronic respiratory conditions.
Role Summary
This permanent position is integral to our ongoing efforts to develop innovative services aimed at managing chronic respiratory diseases. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering specialized physiotherapy care to patients experiencing significant respiratory challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert physiotherapy interventions for patients with complex respiratory symptoms, particularly those nearing advanced stages of respiratory illness.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address issues such as cough management, secretion control, breathlessness, and functional limitations.
- Deliver direct clinical care in various settings, including home visits and outpatient clinics, ensuring a high standard of care for patients at risk of deterioration.
- Offer leadership and mentorship to junior staff and contribute to the education and training of the wider respiratory care team.
- Engage with acute and community healthcare providers to ensure a seamless patient experience and effective management of respiratory conditions.

Essential Qualifications
- Recognized physiotherapy qualification and current HCPC registration.

- Experience in clinical education and supervision.
Desirable Qualifications
- Additional training in breathing pattern disorders and pulmonary rehabilitation.
