About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Respiratory Care Specialist. As a key member of our Community Health team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with chronic respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing holistic patient assessments, including exercise testing, functional assessment, and clinical observations.
- Visiting patients in their own homes to deliver patient education, treatment, and rehabilitation programs.
- Supporting registered clinicians with patient care and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Recording clinical consultations and audit data in electronic records.
- Traveling independently across the region to visit patients and attend service meetings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
