An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Trauma and Orthopaedic department at Kent and Medway Orthopaedic Centre (KMOC). This role offers a unique chance to make a positive impact on patient care and contribute to the success of our team.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the ward team, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.
- Collect, investigate, verify, and record patient demographic and treatment data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enter data precisely into the computerised patient information system, ensuring compliance with national NHS targets and data quality standards.
- Develop strong communication and telephone skills to work effectively with the team and provide patient-centred care.
- Utilize Microsoft packages and other hospital systems to perform administrative tasks.
- Ability to enter data precisely and accurately.
- Non-clinical manual handling experience.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of the principles of data protection and patient confidentiality.
- Clerical experience.
- Work experience in the Hospital/Ward.
- Able to use Microsoft packages.
