We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Imaging Team as an Imaging Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of radiology patient appointments and organization of diagnostic clinics.
This role is ideal for a highly organized and patient-focused administrator who has experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels. The Imaging Administrator will be responsible for organizing and managing the day-to-day booking of radiology patient appointments, providing efficient and effective back-office telephone and email administration services, and monitoring the NHS email for urgent referrals.
Main Duties of the Job
- Organize and manage the day-to-day booking of radiology patient appointments.
- Provide efficient and effective back-office telephone and email administration services.
- Monitor the NHS email for urgent referrals.
- Welcome patients, visitors, consultants, and staff to the radiology department and provide direction to other hospital departments when required.
- Scan referrals and relevant paperwork onto the patient administration system (PAS) in a timely manner.
