Imaging Administrator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Imaging Administrator to join our team at KIMS Hospital. As an Imaging Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day coordination of radiology patient appointments and the organization of diagnostic clinics.
Main Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the booking of radiology patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinic sessions.
- Provide exceptional back-office telephone and email administration services, responding to queries and requests in a prompt and professional manner.
- Monitor NHS emails for urgent referrals and ensure timely action is taken.
- Welcome patients, visitors, consultants, and staff to the radiology department, providing direction to other hospital departments as needed and confirming patient details.
- Scan referrals and relevant paperwork onto the Patient Administration System (PAS) in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Good level of general education, including grade 4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience in a similar customer-focused administrative role, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Good IT skills, including Word and Excel.
