Planning Manager Opportunity

We are working with a leading privately owned house builder in Chelmsford to strengthen their team with an experienced planning manager. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the managing director and head of land to drive the company's growth and success.

About the Role
  • Lead the planning function and develop strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Manage a portfolio of residential planning applications, including large complex strategic land projects
  • Collaborate with the head of land to identify and acquire new development opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Degree qualified with MRTPI
  • 6+ years post-graduation experience in planning, preferably in a house builder or consultancy
  • Good knowledge and experience of handling planning applications in Hertfordshire and Chelmsford
  • Detailed experience on large complex strategic land planning applications and 100 unit plus projects
