Job Summary:
We are looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to lead end-to-end process improvement projects, deploying a CI structured approach. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business process improvement methodologies and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end process improvement projects: Define and agree the approach, scope, and deliverables of each review working closely with the relevant Business Process Owner/s and leadership team members.
- Plan and manage project activities: Liaise with internal/external stakeholders as necessary.
- Design and lead engaging cross-functional workshops: As required.
- Map and evaluate existing business processes: Identify key pain points and issues, measure process performance through data analysis, and quantify improvement opportunities to support business prioritization.
- Re/Design end-to-end processes: Define requirements to deliver the desired business outcome.
- Analyze costs and benefits: Of proposed changes to the business process to determine their overall impact on the organization.
- Engage with stakeholders: Ensure that they are kept up to date and that they are bought into the change process, working closely with the Change Manager.
- Guide and manage the work: Of Business Process Analysts assigned to improvement reviews.
- Design, implement, and monitor process performance goals and measures: Supporting Business Process Owners to track benefits realization.
- Partner with IT and functional teams: To identify automation candidates.
- Work with other Business Process Specialists: Ensuring cross-functional process issues are understood collectively.
- Prepare and deliver progress and management reporting: As required.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree: Or equivalent professional certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt: Or similar.
- Good understanding: Of project delivery methodologies (e.g., Prince, Agile & Scrum).
Experience:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills: And experience of effectively engaging to drive change.
- Substantial practical business experience: With proven background in delivering value through process standardization and optimization.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills: Ability to assess process performance and promote data-led decision making.
- Experience of deriving business case for change: And effective tracking of benefits demonstrating value to the business.
