Xact Placements Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior ICT Technician to join our team in Milton Keynes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and support of all IT hardware and services across school sites, as well as supporting the school in improving the standard of their ICT provisions.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires the successful candidate to be subject to an enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Issue Resolution: Provide efficient technical solutions to settle and manage any technical issues that impact the operations.
  • Hardware Installation and Repair: Install and repair computers with standardised applications and networking software, diagnosing and solving problems that arise in their operations.
  • Technical Duties: Complete a wide range of technical duties related to the computer network and desktop services, including existing installations and upgrading of these installations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years' similar experience ideally within education.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: High level knowledge of common user applications and skilled in using Office 365.
