About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Lead in the Acute Neuro-Sciences unit at the University Hospital of Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and expertise in the field of neurological rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a clinical caseload and provide specialist physiotherapy services to patients with complex physical conditions.
  • Lead and develop a team of physiotherapists, providing expert advice and guidance on clinical practice.
  • Develop and implement education and training programs for physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring best practice in neurological rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Significant post-registration clinical experience in a physiotherapy position at senior level in the specialist area of Acute Neuro-Surgery and Neurology.
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision and leadership.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients, including those with communication difficulties.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work autonomously.
