About the Role

HammondCare is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Residential Care. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering resident-centred, evidence-based care to our residents across our residential portfolio at our Cardiff and Scone precincts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective and timely exercise and purposeful movement opportunities to residents, and provide support and advice to their representatives and the HammondCare team.
  • Collaborate closely with residents, their representatives, staff, and the broader Allied Health Team to assess functional care needs, set care goals, and provide treatment and interventions to deliver the best possible outcomes for residents.
  • Participate as a member of the HammondCare team in the application of the Mission and values to the pursuit of its objectives in a person-centred, continuous quality improvement work environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and continuing professional development.
Requirements
  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action.
  • A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
  • Practical experience or sound knowledge in Aged Care.
  • A current driver's license, safe driving record, with a willingness to drive the organisation's minivan (C class license).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated organisation and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
