About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Superdrug. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver high operational standards and results
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and service targets, and identify opportunities to grow sales and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage and maintain stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock, and ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement operational procedures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and other expenses
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and secure working environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Retail Store Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and be available for on-call duties
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
