Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our team at Saint Gobain. As a Quality Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the maintenance of our Quality, Chain of Custody, and Environmental procedures across our Scottish sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Internal Audits: Objectively review business processes to ensure compliance with legislation and international standards.
  • External Audits: Support external audits to ensure our procedures meet the required standards.
  • Process Maintenance: Maintain processes needed for the Integrated Management System, promoting Quality achievements and performance improvement.
  • Business Objectives: Achieve business objectives relating to quality, Environment, and Energy, conforming to the company's health and safety procedures.
  • Process Implementation: Support the implementation of new systems and procedures, advising staff on application of processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Chain of Custody: Create validations to ensure compliance (quarterly) by checking suppliers/customers still have relevant certification.
  • Reporting: Provide information of COC volumes sold as requested, maintaining the waste carriers register.
