About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to lead our orthopaedic service, handling a mix of elective and non-elective cases, and providing expert care in a dynamic environment. You will manage a diverse caseload, including cruciate repairs (TPLO/CCWO, with opportunities to upskill in TPLO if primarily experienced with TTA), patella luxations, and simple to complex fractures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform surgeries and consultations, contributing to the high standards of care provided at our clinic.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including cruciate repairs, patella luxations, and simple to complex fractures.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of orthopaedic surgery, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong interest and background in orthopaedics.
  • Confidence in performing advanced surgical procedures, particularly in TPLO, CCWO, and fracture management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to pet owners.
  • A genuine commitment to professional development and a passion for veterinary care.
