We are excited to present a rare opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Orthopaedic Specialist to join our team in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest and background in orthopaedics to become part of a fabulous team in a not-for-profit practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead an orthopaedic service, handling a mix of elective and non-elective cases
- Provide expert care in a dynamic environment
- Perform surgeries and consultations, contributing to the high standards of care provided at the clinic
Requirements:
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a post-graduate certificate in small animal surgery or extensive practical experience in orthopaedic surgery
- Confidence in performing advanced surgical procedures, particularly in TPLO, CCWO, and fracture management
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to pet owners and collaborate effectively with colleagues
