About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at Change Recruitment Services Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing new sales opportunities in the motorsport industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Business Strategies: Create and implement business plans to expand our presence in new international markets and territories.
  • Lead Sales and Marketing Activities: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to target new market opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Identify and Pursue Sales Opportunities: Identify and act upon sales opportunities, either self-generated or through leads, to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage Sales Pipeline: Monitor, measure, and manage the sales pipeline through our CRM system to ensure accurate forecasting and sales performance.
  • Conduct Market Research: Study declining or lost business in previously active accounts, understand reasons for loss, and lead recovery actions to minimize revenue impact.
  • Provide Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales and work with operations leadership to ensure appropriate stock levels and profiles.
  • Maximize Revenue Potential: Maximize revenue potential through market pricing and effective quoting.
  • Report Progress: Report progress in defined areas on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Develop and Leverage KPIs: Develop and leverage leading KPIs to manage sales activities and drive business growth.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry opportunities and communicate as appropriate to the sales team.
  • Attend Industry Events: Attend industry exhibitions and conferences to find and meet new customers and/or vendors and understand industry trends.
  • Ad Hoc Customer Visits: Conduct ad hoc customer visits to develop and close identified opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience in Sales and Marketing: Demonstrable experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of driving business growth and developing new sales opportunities.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including MS Excel.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 25% within the UK for business purposes.
