Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health Visitor to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and families in our community.

The successful candidate will have a passion for public health and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service that meets the needs of our community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver the Healthy Child Programme to an identified population, planning, delivering, and evaluating an efficient and cost-effective service.
  • Work with partner agencies to deliver the National and Local Public Health agendas in response to identified health and social needs.
  • Provide evidence-based care to children, young people, and families, in accordance with National and Local Policy initiatives.

Requirements
  • First-level registered nurse/midwife qualification.
  • Specialist practitioner qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing or equivalent.
  • Must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle to meet service needs.
