Public Relations and Campaigns Specialist

Service Care Solutions - Social Work is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations and Campaigns Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Communications Plans: Collaborate with senior managers to create and execute comprehensive communications strategies aligned with our organization's goals.
- Conduct Research and Analysis: Identify opportunities for campaigns that promote our organization and address key issues, analyzing data to provide insights and support.
- Work with Stakeholders: Collaborate with chief officers, department leads, and other stakeholders to identify themes needing campaign support and recommend effective communications strategies.
- Create Campaign Plans: Develop plans to communicate campaigns effectively to the public through traditional, digital, and social media channels.
- Provide Strategic Advice: Offer guidance to officers and staff on communications needs, acting as a liaison between the media, local policing areas, and departments, and managing reputational risks.
- Develop Campaigns: Create campaigns using our organization's best practices framework.
- Coordinate with Team Members: Work with colleagues to integrate work and maximize communication channels.
- Participate in Planning Meetings: Attend planning meetings and commit to resulting plans and activities.
- Manage External Suppliers: Coordinate with external suppliers and agencies as needed, providing briefings for creative agencies to produce communication materials.
- Extensive Experience: Proven experience in delivering PR and campaigns for large organizations.
- Multidisciplinary Skills: Strong skills in media liaison, PR, campaigns, digital and social media, and design.
- Strong Understanding: Excellent understanding and experience with traditional media, multi-channel campaigns, online and offline techniques, and customer behavior.
- Proficient in Digital and Social Media: Ability to use digital and social media to boost our organization's online presence and communication.
- Strong Creative Skills: Strong creative skills and basic design sense for print and online communications, with solid branding knowledge.
- Knowledge of Media Law: Knowledge of media law or willingness to undergo training.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively represent our organization and communicate strategy.
- Proficient in Computer Use: Proficient in computer use with knowledge of various software packages.
- Ability to Simplify Complex Information: Ability to simplify complex information clearly for non-specialist audiences.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, able to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Experience Working with Cross-Disciplinary Teams: Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams, commissioning work, and collaborating to ensure integrated activity.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and lateral thinking for problem-solving.
- Willingness to Learn: Willingness to learn emerging marketing communication trends.
- Full Driving License: A full driving license is desirable for travel within the organization's area.
