Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified After School Educator to join our team on a sessional basis. This role involves working 6 hours per week during term time only, focusing on providing quality educational support to children in an after-school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance the educational attainment of children from diverse backgrounds, with a focus on literacy skills including reading, writing, and spelling.
  • Deliver engaging out-of-hours teaching across various educational stages, specifically targeting children up to age 8.
  • Utilize a range of support strategies, including technology, to facilitate learning activities.
  • Collaborate closely with educational mentors to share insights on children's progress and tailor support to individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of teaching activities and children's achievements for monitoring purposes.
  • Encourage family involvement in the educational process, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Assist in the setup and cleanup of the learning environment as needed.
