Reports to: Senior Designer - Beauty

Location: Burberry Limited

Organisation Unit: Architecture and Design

Scope of Job: Beauty Pop-Ups and Retail Environments

Purpose

To drive innovation and creativity across beauty and fragrance campaign launches. To adapt creative direction into various scales of implementation and work closely with internal and external teams to deliver a successful creative and commercial balance.

Responsibilities


• Develop and lead designs for temporary immersive retail environments from concept creation to concept drawing package, specializing in beauty and fragrance sectors.


• Propose exciting additional customer journey elements as part of the 'retailtainment' strategy.


• Conduct research on materials and processes that can be used within temporary activations, while aligning with our sustainability targets.


• Develop creative direction into multiple scales of implementation, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.


• Create guideline packages that can be used by our partners to implement design direction into various sites globally.


• Collaborate closely with Senior Designer and internal creative and commercial teams to ensure a collaborative, cross-functional delivery that succeeds with the alignment of brand vision.


• Develop designs and construction details under tight timelines, balancing internal and external requirements.


• Oversee visual merchandising strategy and coordinate pop-up activations and events.


• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design strategies.

• Creation of beautiful pop-ups that align with campaign creative and commercial needs.


• Building strong partnerships with cross-functional teams.


• Smooth collaboration with internal and external teams, with design packages delivered on time and to a high standard.

Experience


• Proven experience in concept and pop design, as well as beauty and fragrance.


• Confident creative point of view.


• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.


• Knowledge of current market trends and competitor approaches.


• Well-organized, flexible, and adaptable.


• Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, or Vectorworks.


• Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
