About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health to join our team at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with pelvic health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to understand their treatment proposals and gain valid informed consent to work within a legal framework.
  • Use advanced verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with patients and their carers.
  • Impact highly sensitive complex information to patients to gain cooperation and progress rehabilitation/treatment programmes.
  • Communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively with colleagues across all disciplines.
  • Prepare and submit reports for consultants, solicitors, and other agencies as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy and state registration evidence of relevant postgrad courses/specialist/advanced level/CPD.
  • Post-grad experience including work in a variety of specialties, with demonstrable experience in Women's health.
  • Experience in supervising students/physiotherapy colleagues.

Personal Qualities

  • Able to work collaboratively within the multi-professional team.
  • Able to maintain judgement under pressure.
