About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health to join our team at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with pelvic health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients to understand their treatment proposals and gain valid informed consent to work within a legal framework.
- Use advanced verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with patients and their carers.
- Impact highly sensitive complex information to patients to gain cooperation and progress rehabilitation/treatment programmes.
- Communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively with colleagues across all disciplines.
- Prepare and submit reports for consultants, solicitors, and other agencies as required.
Requirements
- Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy and state registration evidence of relevant postgrad courses/specialist/advanced level/CPD.
- Post-grad experience including work in a variety of specialties, with demonstrable experience in Women's health.
- Experience in supervising students/physiotherapy colleagues.
Personal Qualities
- Committed to personal and team development.
- Able to work collaboratively within the multi-professional team.
- Able to maintain judgement under pressure.
- Confident.
