Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Domestic Support Assistant to join our team at Mountfield, a residential care home providing dedicated care and support to individuals with dementia. As a Domestic Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment, ensuring the wellbeing of our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic support to service users, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Support service users with their daily routines and activities
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care or support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Enhanced DBS check required
