Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Engineer to lead our sales growth and market expansion efforts in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and exceed profit targets.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, aiming to surpass annual revenue budgets.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients across various industries.
- Set and manage sales objectives aligned with the company's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated sales efforts.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales deals.
- Provide market insights and support product development teams to shape the future product roadmap.
New Business Development:
- Identify and assess new markets for existing products and services.
- Work closely with senior management to explore and develop new partnership opportunities.
- Create business cases for innovative growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in sales or marketing.
- Relevant technical qualifications, ideally within the heavy machinery sector.
- A proven ability to build successful sales relationships at all levels within an organisation.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and commercial skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, with a positive, results-oriented attitude.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
- Willingness to travel extensively and spend significant time with clients.
