Job Overview

VMA GROUP is seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Event Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Communications team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing internal events and activations that drive employee engagement and morale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement an effective events strategy that aligns with the company's overall Internal Communications goals.
    • Plan and coordinate all logistics for events, including managing the events calendar.
  • Event Execution
    • Design and deliver regular internal activations and events to increase employee engagement and encourage two-way conversations between leaders and colleagues.
    • Promote internal events and activations using a variety of internal communications channels.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Liaise with key stakeholders and colleagues to bring engagement activations and events to life, ensuring alignment with wider IC activities and the company's overall strategy.
    • Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure resources within budget constraints, working with the procurement team as appropriate.
  • Event Evaluation and Improvement
    • Manage event budgets, including cost estimation, allocation, and tracking expenses.
    • Apply a strategic and creative internal comms lens when developing activations and events, ensuring they support the wider communications plans.
    • After the events, complete post-event evaluations to measure the success of events by analyzing attendee feedback and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
